I stuck this on my new Moto G5 plus the day it arrived. Two days later, my 4 year old decides to throw the phone on the tiled floor. Tempered glass smashed a little bit, but it did exactly what it's supposed to. My phone screen is absolutely perfect after it. Forget the plastic film type covers -- these are the business.

The Moto G5+ has Gorilla glass 3. Pretty strong stuff. But you still don't want to scratch or break your nice new phone.
The installation instructions are not so good for this glass cover. Using the tabs provided is good to start, but better to hold the edge of the glass with your fingertips to get it lined up exactly. It sticks on pretty well with a bit of encouragement.
Disappointment - the cut for the ear speaker is not an exact match to the phone. In these days of laser cut, that is not really good enough. However, if you line up the fingerprint section and the little hole next to the ear speaker it still leaves the speaker fully clear. Other than that it fits well.
I found that it holds fingerprints and smudges a bit more than the original phone glass. I don't know if that is a normal characteristic for these covers.

The Olixar glass screen protector is easy to apply with no bubbles. Touch screen sensitivity is not affected but the speaker cut out is offset to the left hand side of the phone - the Moto G5 plus speaker is centrally placed. Also the finger print cut out and the front facing camera holes could be larger with advantage.
