FishHunter Pro companion app

Using the free FishHunter Pro companion app on either your iOS or Android device, the Directional 3D can be used to reveal key information that is crucial to locate the best possible fishing spots using Directional Casting, 3D Bottom Contouring, 3D Bottom Contour Mapping and Ice Fishing flasher.

With a range of up to 60 metres (200ft), the FishHunter's Wi-Fi connection transfers data 4x faster than Bluetooth and allows you to cast your sonar far and wide without losing a connection to the all important data.

Directional casting

Using the 5 tri-frequency transducers, the FishHunter provides you with a depth and a location for where fish are being detected, in addition to water temperature and raw data. Once you know the location, you'll know exactly where to cast your fishing rod and catch even more fish.

3D bottom contouring

Improve your catch rate using the FishHunter's 3D bottom contouring. Simply toss your FishHunter into the water and you'll immediately have a 3D view of the bottom structure. Using 3D software and 3 of the transducers, you can see a life like image of the bottom contour.

To help differentiate between depths, fish and weeds, the colour option can be used to show weeds appearing in bright green and fish shown with their location and depth. While the depth of the bottom contour is also shown by colour variations. 

3D bottom contour mapping

Use the FishHunter to create custom GPS tagged 3D maps of the bottom contour of your favourite fishing spots. Cast out the FishHunter over the area you want measured, enter the distance away from you, reel it back in and you'll have an accurate 3D contour of the bottom on your smartphone or tablet.

Different colours are used to display the various depths of the contour, while the map can also be viewed from a frontal or side view. 

Ice fishing flasher

The FishHunter Directional 3D can even be used for ice fishing. With an operational temperature range between -22 ?F (-30 ?C) to 95 ?F (35 ?C), the FishHunter has been designed to withstand harsh weather conditions. Using the Ice Fishing Flasher View on your smartphone or tablet, you can easily view the depth, temperature,bottom and your fishing jig to help find the perfect catch.
