Nice classy replacement back. The wood grain is pretty subtle, so the light wood one might be better for showing grain. But the key is that it's thicker and stiffer than the standard one that comes with the phone. Microsoft should have made the phone with this case design, standard, as it reduces the feeling of flex. Could be a little stiffer or thicker even, but it's fine. The NFC being included is a nice bonus as well, as most other replacement backs don't have that.

This is hands down the best battery cover for the Lumia 650. What makes is great is the fact that its still has the NFC chip embedded and it looks like it was carved from a tree. The only downsides is that it retains some fingerprints but mainly after you eat fried chicken. Enjoy!

Packaging is very cheap but once you get the cover out and put it on your phone the look and feel of the material is very nice. It's almost indistinguishable from real wood unless you look very closely (you can see the digital printing dots). The texture is pleasant to the touch, I find myself holding the phone more often.

The back cover looks and feels great on the phone. The black matches the 650 nicely, so good that I try to use a case as little as possible to show it off. My only complaint is the wood grain is not readily visible. You pretty much have to be holding it in your hand to see the grain. If you want a classy looking back cover, I would recommend this. If you specifically want that wood grain look, you may want to consider the brown/tan version.
